Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.

Disclaimer

By using this website you accept the terms below.

We are a referral service only

Steel Fabrication Auckland is an independent referral website. We do not fabricate, supply, install or engineer steel products or carry out any other physical work. When you submit an enquiry, we pass your details to one or more independent steel fabrication businesses, who may contact you directly to discuss and quote the job.

Any agreement for work is strictly between you and the business you choose. We are not a party to it.

Independent businesses

The businesses we refer you to are separate and independent. We do not employ them, and they are not our agents or partners. We may receive a referral fee or other payment from them for the leads we send.

No guarantee or endorsement

We do not guarantee the quality, safety, timing, pricing, availability or outcome of any work done by any business we refer you to. A referral is not a recommendation or warranty of their services. Please do your own checks, get a written quote, confirm the scope of work and ask for relevant qualifications, certifications and insurance before you agree to anything.

Quotes, pricing and compliance

Any prices, ranges or timeframes on this site are a guide only. The final quote comes from the fabricator, not from us.

Structural and fabricated steel work can be affected by the Building Code, building consents, engineering design, producer statements, welding and inspection standards, and council rules. We do not give advice on these. You are responsible for making sure the right design, consents and sign-offs are in place before work starts.

General information only

Content on this site is general information about steel fabrication services. It is not professional, legal, engineering or financial advice. We try to keep it accurate and current, but we do not promise it is complete or up to date.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by New Zealand law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, cost or injury arising from your use of this website, or from any work, advice or service provided by any business we refer you to or any other third party. Nothing in this disclaimer limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986, where those laws apply.

External links

This site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Website availability

We do not guarantee the site will always be available, error-free or secure.

Governing law

This disclaimer is governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
